International Recharge Your Batteries Day will take place on April 7, 2006, for the first time in recorded history amd then every year on the same day forever and ever. However, since recharging one's batteries is a matter that sometimes cannot wait for a special date to appear on the calendar, it is hereby allowed and permitted for you celebrate or observe this day, in any way you wish, on *ANY DAY OF THE CALENDAR YEAR.

*[Why April 7? Well, 4-7 is like 4 plus 7 which equals 11, and 7 and 11 are lucky numbers, so therefore, well, you understand, right?]

Whenever you feel it is high time for you to recharge your human batteries, go to it.

Now, there are many ways to recharge your batteries, and we know you know what they are, or at least, what some of them are. So go to it, and do what makes sense for you, and what is best for you. This international website and day of recognition will never dictate to anyone what is the proper way to recharge one's batteries. There are many ways, and they all work well. Choose your weapons! Ready, aim, fire!

In the meantime, it should also be noted that International Recharge Your Batteries Day has been set up to promote a special little poem written by David Henry Newman, who also goes by several other names, but this is a good one. The poem is titled "It's Never Too Late to Begin Again" and it's a book, too.
